Tropical luscious dreams

The most recognized board game is, without a doubt, chess. The infinite combinations that can occur on those sixty-four black and white squares, the great battles that were resolved this way during the Cold War, and its unknown origin have turned it into a myth. Max Bellocchio wanted to pay homage to this "sport" in the sixteenth film of the saga. The number of pieces is no small matter, as each opponent has 16 pieces at the beginning of the game: eight pawns, two rooks, two knights, two bishops, the queen, and the king.

El número de la entrega no es baladí, ya que cada oponente cuenta con 16 piezas al comienzo de la partida: 8 peones, 2 torres, 2 caballos, 2 alfiles, la dama y el rey.

La isla de Reunión fue bautizada como "Dina morgabin" por exploradores árabes en torno al siglo X, pero estuvo deshabitada hasta el siglo XVI, cuando arribaron los portugueses, que la renombraron como Santa Apolonia. Era la gran época de los descubridores, con hallazgos geográficos continuos, que ahora se han visto detenidos en la frontera insalvable de la exosfera, dadas las dificultades tecnológicas. Sin embargo, la fenecida Lynn Margulis solía decir con buen criterio que el hombre era para la Tierra lo que un huevo para un ave: el encargado de expandir la vida más allá del planeta; así que todo llegará.
