What is a fool story context review (FSC)?

Fool story context is a subgenre of film reviews that I came up with during the COVID-19 pandemic. With creativity, I seek to improve the plot of movies by introducing, on the one hand, digressions that enrich the main story and, on the other, applying narrative ellipsis to less relevant content. I was inspired by movie reviews from internet portals like IMDB and Filmaffinity, travel feature films and postmodern literature. Given the genre of film reviewed, I can assure you that the object and motivation of the FSC is to stand out the performance of little-known artists and filmmakers.

The FSC is closely related to the classic conception of film reviews, but it adds a lot of new information to the script and provides a large amount of data related to shooting locations. It is also a parody of the style of film critics and their thoughtful essays, making indiscriminate use of those words typical of those who raise their pinky when drinking their glass of champagne.I use irony and proverbs to sweeten the prose, and the photo captions are written in a humorous tone. The beginnings are located in mid-2020, weeks after the coronavirus epidemic that paralyzed the European continent.

As for its characteristic features, the Fool story context analyzes and slightly alters the main story, transforming the initial work into a new product. In my opinion, the vision that an FSC writer should put on paper is a mirror of his most personal interpretation. It differs by a marked expressive freedom and by including paragraphs with excessive surrealism. The image accompanies the entire writing, providing the dynamism and audiovisual component that young readers of the 21st century demand.

Regarding the content, the Fool Story Context is a genre of film essay that stands out for some very peculiar distinctive features:

- Documentary and geographical contribution of the shooting locations: coordinates, referenced photographs, aerial images, etc.

- Quotes and winks to great scenes and characters from celluloid history.

- Highlight all the passive product placements that appear in the film, linking to brands and companies.

- Additional information related to vehicles, hotels, tourist attractions and other objects that appear in the props.

- Audiovisual content in the form of images, graphic design and video to complement the essay.

- Brushstrokes of multidisciplinary knowledge: history, law, journalism or medicine.

- Use of images generated by AI when the new approach to the story requires them, with the aim of giving packaging to the script.

The aesthetic of the FSC stands out for its dynamic and easy-to-read lyrics, and it uses technology and creativity to build a new approach to the film, differing from the original conception of the filmmaker.

Influences:

Early in the 21st century, THE INTERNET MOVIE DATABASE users opinions of movies evolution into a COMMENTARY phase - virtually identical to other film summary and known as Movie reviews.

MOVIE REVIEWS were superior in viralism and reach, and at least equal in content to the classic film reviews from which they were inspired.

Movie reviews were used as SEO content in the risky positioning of other websites all over the planet.

After the bloody spread of COVID in Western Europe, I decided that I didn't want to settle for just having my own introspective view of films: that gave me a near-death feeling.

An special blog with the name of TROPICAL LUSCIOUS DREAMS began to cover the films in a new short story, ignoring the superfluous scenes and reinforcing other elements and characters that the original director had not treated with enthusiasm; as if I were a mere invasive artist.

    This was not called creation.

It was called Fool story context.
